Neighbothood Watch



The date of the next Trefechan Neighbourhood Watch Meeying is

Tuesday 20th September at 2pm at the Senior Citizens Hall, The Birchway, Trefechan.


The watch is open to current and new members.

Please come along if there are any concerns or issues you would like to have addressed.


The Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator and our Local PCSO will be in attendance to support the watch.

The meeting is treated as confidential.

saving used stanps

Please could you save your used stamps and bring them to the Communities First Office where we will send them to the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
This is a charity where your used stamps are used to purchase hearing dogs.

Minging to Blinging





Trefechan Communities First in partnership with Glamorgan Gates delivered a "minging to blinging" session with Trefechan Young People. Taking recycled or plain T Shirts the young people blinged them up, encouraging them to reuse and recycle their clothes and help save the environment and money.

Free Bus to Jobs Fair

Trefechan Communities First are running a free bus to and from the jobs fair at Merthyr Leisure Centre on Thursday 11th August at 11am.

The bus will leave Trefechan Community Centre
at 11am and also pick up on Cefn High Street at 11.05am

There will be a number of employers and agencies at the jobs fair, with the Communities First Staff on hand to assist you if needed.
