Jewellery Making Workshops
The Trefechan Communities First Partnership is partnership with Glamorgan Gates will be running a series of Jewellery Workshops on the following dates in the Trefechan Community Centre:
Wednesday 15th July 1pm - 2.30pm
Tuesday 21st July 1pm - 2.30pm
Tuesday 4th August 1pm - 2.30pm
Tuesday 11th August 1pm - 2.30pm

Apprenticeships Available
Safer Merthyr Tydfil is looking to recruit 2 apprentices (aged 16-24)to work to deliver on the priorities of children and young people in Merthyr Tydfil.
Salary : Minimum Wage Commensurate with Age
Part Time: 30 hours per week
This scheme will allow two people with the opportunity to under a training programme in the field of participation. As an apprentice in this area, no two days will be the same - every young person is unique and you will need to come up with creative ways to reach them and build relationships that empower them to value their community and the contribution they can make to it. There is also an administrative side to the role as well.
Safer Merthyr Tydfil will support you by provigin you with excellent on the job training and mentoring and at the end of the 18 month Apprenticeship you will have gained a minimum qualificaiton of NVQ level 2 in Youth Work but this will be supplemented by an individual training and development package to meet your personal needs.
