Merthyr Tydfil LGB Group

There is a new LGB group in Merthyr Tydfil which is set up to
- promote the welfare and interest of lesbian, gay and bisexual people within Merthyr Tydfil
- act as an information access point, social networking and peer support resource for LGB people within Merthyr Tydfil
- provide a safe opportunity for matters of concern to LGB people to be raised and discussed at monthly meetings
- provide a safe avenue for experiences of homophobic hate crime to be reported to South Wales Police and the Merthyr Tydfil Hate Crime officer
- promote a positive view of LGB people to counteract stereotyping

Meetings are held monthly in a friendly and welcoming location within Merthyr Tydfil. For dates and venue of meetings please contact the LGB Group at

Trefechan Food Co-operative (Run by the Trefechan Community Association)




The Trefechan Community Association has just launched their new project which aims to provide local food products at low cost to local residents. The food co-operative is currently providing the following:
Fruit Packs £2.50
Vegetable Packs £2.50
Stew Packs £1.50
Salad Packs £2.50
Free Range Eggs (Half Dozen) 90p
