Free learning activities available for local people to gain the skills and confidence to help them move towards employment.
If you live in Merthyr, are not in full time education or not working, then the Bridges to Work project will offer you guidance, training and support to help you into employment.
We will offer you a range of free courses in order to gain the new skills and qualifications you need to progress.
Courses include:
- job specific training
- construction training
- computer courses
- retail/customer service
- learning through the outdoors e.g climbing, kayaking etc
- pre-employment courses with established companies including argos, wilkinson, cwm taf NHS and British gas
- literacy and numeracy
- job search
- life support programme
- careers information
