Credit Crunch Day - 17th September
Trefechan Communities First Partnership will be running a special Credit Crunch Day on September 17th from 3pm to 8pm at the Trefechan Community Centre. Free information and advice will be on offer to help local residents prepare and protect themselves during challenging economic times.
Free information and guidance will be available on a number of subjects including:
• How to reduce your household bills
• Pensions and planning for your retirement
• Benefit advice and claiming benefits
• Savings, low cost loans and child trust funds
• Support and training available to help you manage your money
• Help with returning to work
• Advice for carers
• Help with adaptations to homes
• Help with low cost gardening services and handy person service
• Support to help deal with debt and money worries
• Advice and support on how to deal with illegal money lenders
The event is free and open to all to attend. We would encourage all residents to come along and find out how to make the most of their money.
Provision for children is also included with a variety of activities for children during the event.
